Dear Fire Chief,
My name is Anna Schooley, Assembly Director for the National Character Education Foundation and I would like to introduce you to someone who is willing to do a Community Event that could be a great fundraiser for your fire department. His name is Bob Holmes, known across America as the “One Man Volleyball Team”.

Bob is featured on “Ripley’s Believe it or Not” for traveling all across America and playing over 20,000 games, more games than any other athlete of any sport. (and he has lost less than 500 games)  Bob has also played against several pro sports teams and beat them all.
Bob plays at school assemblies, plus civic events across the nation and we would like to hold a community event in your area with ALL of the donations collected at the event going to your fire department. The event will include Bob playing against a 6-man team from your fire department prior to him delivering a very powerful message on:  Standing Alone Against Peer Pressure, Beating the Odds in Life, Defeating Drugs and Alcohol Use, plus the Value of Life, an anti-suicide message for the community.

We know your heart breaks every time you must deliver sad news to parents, which is all the more reason to bring Bob and his message to the schools in the area.

During the school assemblies, Bob invites the school, their families, friends, and neighbors to attend the event in order to receive the best possible turnout and donations. During the  event, Bob publicly acknowledges your department to show his support for firefighters because you selflessly risk your lives for others.  Bob even believes that firefighters should be paid a lot more than NBA players for your hard work, service and dedication.

We will be reaching out to your local schools to see if they would be willing to host a school assembly.  So, if you have any connections with your schools that could help us get in them that would be extremely helpful and appreciated.

Please Watch Bob's short explainer video below.

Our goal is to get Bob in front of as many people as possible in your community, so we would appreciate you helping us with that task.
